The Llannefydd Sports Pavilion was developed as a modern yet sympathetic addition to the rural village of Llannefydd, providing high-quality sports and community facilities for residents, schools, and local clubs.
HSP acted as Principal Contractor, managing all aspects of construction, coordination, and fit-out within a six-month programme. The building was delivered using a high-performance timber frame and Structural Insulated Panels (SIPS), ensuring superior thermal efficiency, airtightness, and build speed - even in challenging
winter conditions.
SCOPE OF WORKS
HSP managed the project through close coordination with architects and engineers, revising groundworks and drainage designs to ensure long-term performance.
The build incorporated SIPS technology to accelerate the programme while achieving high environmental performance. Externally, the pavilion was clad in locally sourced larch, installed with a secret-fix system for a clean, linear aesthetic that will weather naturally over time.
